Friday Roundup

Hi guys! So if you saw my Instagram feed from last night, you know this week hasn’t gone as planned! From taking a couple days off earlier in the week, and then we lost Internet for over a day due to construction cutting wires, I’m way behind lol! Thankfully my wheels had already been turning earlier in the week when I was thinking about changing things up on the blog a little and I was planning on turning Fridays into either a “flatlay comes to life” post or “Friday roundup” or the past week’s outfits.

You also know how entirely hot Florida still is, and the forecast is showing high 80s during the day 2 weeks out! 😩 If we are going out to dinner or somewhere I know will be chilly, I’ve gotten away with a light cardigan and booties, but for the most part I’m still in full summer gear! That being said, work is the one place I can wear all the fall clothes to my heart’s content! My co-workers like it freezing and keep the air blasting at 69 degrees. Since I usually work 4 days per week, I figured that would be a perfect amount of photos to take for daily outfits and round them up for Friday’s post.

Anyway, so here goes this week’s outfit posts! You will probably recognize several of them from flatlays!

skirt – LOFT | top – Old Navy | necklace (old) – option | pumps (old) – option

I was pretty excited to put this outfit together after making a flatlay – I still love this skirt so much from last fall and was happy to see it brought back to the Outlet store! It matches perfectly with this lightweight blouse, but can be paired with so many things. My favorite from last fall was a striped turtleneck tee – which I plan to re-do for this year!

A New Day belted cardigan, Old Navy plaid pants, Old Navy pumps, J.crew Factory lace top

top: J.Crew Factory | cardigan: Target | pants: Old Navy | pumps (old): option

I feel pretty profesh in this outfit ~ all while having fun with the print & color! The belt can be removed on the cardigan also. I played around with it tied and removed, and ended up liking it better tied. I left it loose so I wouldn’t get too terribly warm, but could easily be worn more like a cardigan jacket and tied tightly.

J.Crew Factory bow sweater, J.Crew Factory wool sidewalk skirt

sweater: J.Crew Factory | skirt: J.Crew Factory | earrings: Target | pumps (old): option

Still love this pretty bow sweater! There are only a few sizes left in each color, but definitely worth it on sale if your size is left in stock. I’m wearing my normal size, but probably could have sized down one also for a more fitted look.

Lucky Brand sweater, Joe's Jeans, J.Crew Factory leopard necklace

sweater: Lucky Brand | jeans: Joe’s | necklace: J.Crew Factory | pumps (old): option | belt: GAP

Another flatlay outfit I was happy to bring to life! This waffle knit sweater is really soft and the tie bell sleeves add an elevated detail to a regular sweater.
