I’ve had this striped tie-knot tee for years and while I sell quite a few of my clothes on Poshmark once the style is older or I’ve replaced with a newer option – this is one of those tops I can’t let go of! I just happened to come across a near identical version on Amazon Prime for $10-16 (depends on size/color) – and comes in 25 (I said 25!) color/print options! It has 4 out of 5 stars with almost 600 reviews – I’d say that’s pretty good for the price! I added the red/stripe option to my cart! Loving Amazon Prime finds lately! ❤️

Wore this cute Aloha tee for a couple #ootd style challenges today. Just a simple summer graphic tee that’s easy to dress up or down. I purchased my regular size, but wish I had sized up one – I think it would be really cute to tie in the front also!

Just a cute & trendy ringer tee from Amazon Prime! Perfect for the weekend and casual days. And only $16! That’s the best part. 🙂 I went with my normal size (small). Reviews suggested it runs big, but my normal size fit perfectly.

Since moving to Florida a few years ago, I’ve taken a on a new appreciation for lightweight tops and jeans that don’t ‘stick’ when you put them on after showering – ha! The heat and humidity has finally started to cook up down south, so I mainly wear tanks and shorts at home, light weight tops and skirts at work, with the occasional chino or lightweight denim.
And when I say denim.. usually only white jeans! 😝 So I apologize if my blog becomes ‘white jeans, work skirt, white jeans, work skirt’ lol – I think I need to break out of my comfort zone apparently! That all said, I wanted to show you a new favorite lightweight top! This beautiful eyelet top is only $29, comes in 12 color options! 12! I’m wearing the pink carnation color.
Nordstrom recommends going down one size (I’m wearing an XS) and I think it has the perfect fit. It’s swingy enough you can easily do a half-tuck like shown, tuck in to a tie-waist skirt or shorts, or even tie knot over jeans shorts.

Well, hi friends! So after my blog post yesterday about our new addition Reid, I feel refreshed and ready to take things on again. He was such a good boy yesterday also! Since I brought Reid home just over a week ago, I’ve only had one day off work to spend with him. It was my husband’s light work week, but my heavy work week (60 hours) and he got way more bonding time then I did. However, I spent the entire day with him on Monday and sucked up all the puppy kisses! I also taught him “come” and “sit” – so that was fun! We’ve been working mostly on behavior during walks and to ignore other dogs and creating a positive environment. He was so good yesterday. Proud rescue mom here!
That all said, I’m ready to get back to talking about style! Today’s casual outfit isn’t an original outfit creation or groundbreaking trend, just an easy summer dress that you can throw on any day of the week! Since we are in full summer-mode in Florida already, I’m always on the hunt for lightweight and easy.
My dress is only $14.99 and comes in 4 color options. I love the blue color also! I had picked up this cute bag already and loved how it was styled together with this dress on Target’s website. So, why not do the same?!
😁 Check out the earrings also – only $10! #targetforthewin
My bag is a crossbody with removable straps. I love the tortoise shell ring handle and it’s the perfect size to fit all your necessities. The bag also comes in an awesome printed pattern in a completely different look!

Thanks for stopping by!
I’ve been on a total J.Crew kick lately! Every other day they seem to have a good sale (30-50% off) and their items have been priced better than the Factory store! This embroidered tank is another new arrival ~ I fell in love with this rich rustic mahogany color (also comes in 3 other color options). The straps are not adjustable, but thankfully it didn’t matter on my short frame. It does seem to run a tad large in the bodice area. However, it’s 100% cotton, so I’m expecting it to shrink and the fit will be perfect thereafter (I’m wearing a size small). I would say if you are not busty then go down one size. I love how this color matches perfectly with leopard and white also! ❤️

Ahh, the wind. The only morning I had to take a few photos was of course a day before storms and rain blew in along with 25 mph winds. So, this top is not really this wrinkled nor fits stuck to your body in the front, that would be the wind! Lol. These were the best photo of the bunch. I saw a catalog photo (not even sure which advertiser!) featuring a top in a similar color to this one with leopard accessories and knew I had to try it out! I thought it really added fun detail! I’m excited to try it again using a different color scheme (leopard and olive perhaps?).
And I love, love that I found a pair of button-fly jeans in a light wash that are affordable! I’m afraid this trend won’t last forever, so I didn’t want to spend a ton to buy them, and thankfully Old Navy to the rescue! I have collected quite a few of Old Navy denim in my closet the last few years and I’m honestly pretty impressed. I have $250 jeans in my closet and $25 jeans LOL, and somedays I truly can’t tell a difference. I wear whichever pair based on the look I’m going for and these are definitely going to be a summer go-to pair!

I love that kelly green is such a hot color this spring! My exact top in green is old (still available in red and white here), but still so many pretty options out there ~ I linked my favorites below! I’ve seen this color of green paired mostly with blues, pinks, and yellows. I decided to pair it here with a smattering of blues from my navy blue necklace to light blue bag, but would easily switch any of my accessories out for pink also! I actually went home after this blog post, put on a light blue denim wash, pink necklace, and cognac flats and went to work. I liked the look just as much!

Rompers are always a spring & summer favorite. And for me they are hit or miss. I think I fit into that category of being too short or too tall for certain clothing items (in my case too short lol). However, I finally found one that I really like! And from Old Navy no less! Not only does this one fit me darn near perfect, it comes in both petite & tall sizes! I went with regular sizing since I didn’t want the bottom half to be too short, but I think petite would have worked also (maybe a little better). I styled the romper here for our spring weather (breezy and on the cool side), but I plan to wear it this summer with sandals and sans jacket!
Right now the romper is on sale for $26 + an extra 30% off! And as always free shipping with any of the GAP family cards. The romper also comes in 2 printed floral patterns, which are on sale for $22 + extra discount! I love the ‘black ditsy floral’ pattern also.
size tip: I’m wearing a size small in the romper which is my normal size. Jacket is a size small-petite.

Can we talk about this cute tie knot tee?! A new arrival from Nordstrom, and right up my alley! Perfect for weekends and if I’m feeling extra casual at work, this is my kind of tee. I was instantly drawn into the pink and blue color options (5 colors total), but really need white tees in my closet that will pair with everything, so I went with the boring color. 😝 The material is ‘marled’ and somewhat transparent in the white color. I was worried the white would be see thru, but with a nude bra it’s totally fine. I imagine that other color options are less transparent.
And I finally (6 months later…) found a pair of olive skinnies that I love! And from Old Navy to boot! If you remember my debacle from last fall, I found a pair of burgundy jeans for fall from Express that I loved… but the olive color in the same jeans was ehh. I passed. And ever since then I’ve tried various brands with little success. I mean, better late then never, right? ☺️
