On Trend: Tie Dye

Thinking about all the spring trends and the tie dye print is making a comeback! While definitely a weekend or casual print, it’s perfect to dress up denim a little and make your outfit a little more fun! I rounded up all of my favorites from various retailers below — Anthropologie and Nordstrom of course have the trendiest and best styles! Old Navy and Amazon have awesome simple tees, tanks, and tops to keep it affordable while staying trendy also! I love them all and the styles are so unique it’s would be hard to narrow down a favorite. Since I live in Florida, I would say one of the tees or tanks are top of my wish list – but the Blank NYC moto jacket from Nordstrom is on sale and I would be top of my list if I lived up north!

Casual Flatlay: Ciao! Sweatshirt

Say hello to the cutest graphic sweatshirt for spring! It’s lightweight and slightly oversized, so easily layered if you need a top underneath (and jeans, not shorts ha!). I live for tops like this in the summer down here in FL, because as soon as our temps start to rise, the air conditioning is on constant blast. It’s so easy to throw something like this on over a tee or tank. And the inside isn’t fleece lined, so you won’t go from 0 to 100 degrees lol.

3 color options available with the ‘Ciao’ graphic, but check out the other graphics also – the leopard! 😍 Fit is TTS.

Casual Outfits: Weekly #OOTD Roundup

Hi guys! I’ve been saving up some casual #ootd photos from the past week and wanted to share! Since we’ve had a mix of 60 and 70 degree weather lately, I’ve been living in light layers and booties. A mix of new and old items, I’ve linked similar or newer versions of the same items below!

Outfit #1:

I’m in love with the layered look of wearing my denim jacket or sweater sleeves rolled up with a light long-sleeve layer underneath. I got the idea from one of my Fabletics tops, so whether this is a new trend or old trend, or not even a trend, who knows – but I like it!

Outfit #2:

This comfy tunic top comes in a ton of colors, only $20, and perfect for cooler weather! It has somewhat of soft sweatshirt type material on the inside also for extra warmth. It’s long enough to wear perfectly with jeggings and fits TTS. I’m wearing a size small.

Outfit #3:

Ahh, this camo sweater. It’s a goodie. It sold out really fast, but there are so many great camo options that I’ll link below. I love the way green camo pairs with grey booties and blue jeans that have a slight grey hue. I also have grey metallic earrings on that you can’t see, but complete the outfit with the grey booties.

Outfit #4:

Say hello to my new favorite tunic! It’s the perfect length to tie in front for a trendy look, or leave it down with leggings. It’s extremely soft and comes in 9 color options. I would say it fits TTS, I’m wearing a size regular-small. If you want it to fit as a regular length shirt I would order petite sizing.

Sunday Wish List

Hi friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve curated a good wish list — I’ve been waiting for the spring arrivals to start to drop and they are finally here! Loving some of the new (and old) trends releasing!

#1: Camo shirt: I have a camo waffle knit top, camo jacket, camo sweater…. but loving this camo shirt I can dress up (or down) this spring! I think honestly this shirt is at the top of my wish list just because I have so many styling ideas in mind.

#2: Bubblegum pink sweater: Just because. It’s pink and pretty (and if you live somewhere cold, layer that bad boy over the camo shirt! 😜)

#3: Woven mules: These mules are my absolute favorite in the spring and summer months. I have a white pair that I’ve honestly worn to death and will probably need replaced next year. I love this newest version and hoping to add it to my closet soon to give my other pair a break!

#4: AE jeans: This new pair is just as good as all the rest, and I love the simple one leg distressing.

#5: Tie front top: This top from Nordstrom was a huge hit last summer – I passed it up and have regretted it ever since. It’s back in 3 color options, and I have the white and navy/white striped on my wish list!

#6: Poppy red skirt: I have this same (or very similar) skirt in a light pink hue and I love this poppy red color!

Sunday Wish List

Flatlay: Textured Floral Top

I stopped into our local LOFT store a couple of weeks ago, and couldn’t stop thinking about this top! The seafoam green color is refreshing for this time of year, and the texture of the top adds great detail! I originally thought to style it with my dark denim skirt, but imagine I’ll wear it with about every other shade of denim, plus black and white. Currently 40% off with code ‘XOXO’.

Casual Outfit: Leopard Sweater

Hi everyone! Wow, the last 2 weeks flew by – I worked 9 days straight while not feeling the best – always something, right?! Anyway, blogging and getting dressed in general (ha) were not at the top of my to-do list. I have a few days off work finally and felt a little more human today… so, I got dressed!  I think every other blogger has worn a variation of this outfit since September, but this leopard sweater felt like comfort food. My sweater is long sold out, but I linked similar options below. My jeans are new – I love the button fly – and they fit TTS. My booties are still on sale and come in a ton of color options! Well worth the investment. Also fit TTS.

Flatlay: Winter Brights

I love, love all the bright cheery colors being released in stores! Winter brights (and whites) are always a hot trend. Usually you will see a lot of reds and pinks since Valentines Day is upon us, but honestly there has been an awesome mix lately. I even picked up a few warmer pink and terracota hues at Target yesterday which I’ll share soon – just feels good to have a great mix in my closet. My sweater comes in 6 color options, including a bright pink and yellow color. It is made of a soft cotton material (no wool), but is slightly cropped. I wore it with jeans that are a higher mid rise or high rise and loved the way it looked. My exact scarf is old, but I’ll link similar options below.

Amazon Fashion: Spring Wish List

Hi friends! This week has been extra crazy on a lot of fronts! Work picked up rapidly with the new year (to the point I’ve never seen it this busy in all of my 15 years in pharmacy – just trying to keep my body above ground ha!). And if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, I posted on stories that we adopted a new pup! We welcomed 3 year old ‘Pippa’ into our home after she retired from Greyhound racing in November. Today was her first full day in our home and we absolutely adore her. She’s become a permanent fixture on our couch, sleeps every second I let her, and is sweet as pie. She’s living up to all of the Greyhound rumors!

That all said, I’m ready to put out a few blog posts this week! Amazon has released a lot of great items recently – I add them to my cart or wish list as soon as I see something I like (so I don’t forget about it), and all of these are currently on my list. Florida spring is right around the corner, and for those of you who live up north, these are affordable spring break finds! I think everything is below $30 and runs TTS according to the brand sizing. They also come in multiple color options!

Flatlay: Cozy Sweater

Say hello to one of the softest sweaters! I haven’t shopped at GAP for awhile and just happened to glance in to see this pretty knit sitting on their front table. I fell in love with all of the color options and honestly had a hard time choosing – the turquoise blue color is gorgeous! I went with the gray since I have a lot of colored options in my closet, but I was pretty partial to the blue color. The yellow was very pretty also! It fits TTS and very comfortable.

Flatlay: Classic Blue + OOTD

I thought I’d kick my first blog post off for the new year featuring the Pantone “color the year” which goes to classic blue! I’m actually pretty fond of this color. Navy blue takes the cake during the summer and early fall months, but really a nice deep blue color is perfect anytime. My exact sweater is old, but I’ll link below my current favorites!

Also – check out these pretty loafers! They have a beautiful metallic thread that’s perfect for winter! And one of my favorite loafers for work. And they match any classic blue sweater perfectly. 🙂

I’m following a style challenge again this month on Instagram – the prompts are using the writer’s favorite flatlays found on Pinterest! I’m so happy she featured a couple of my own flatlays! So, if you follow other bloggers or follow Pinterest, some of my outfits my look a little like copy cats. Just thought I need to put that disclaimer out there ha!
