Instagram¬†is where I truly post my “daily” (or Dailey ūüôā ) outfits and what I’m currently wearing from day to day. I wear my blog post outfits in real life, but don’t usually get to post them for many weeks later. ¬†On Tuesdays and Fridays I post all the details on each outfit from Instagram in order to keep you up to date – enjoy!
These lavender chinos are Banana Republic’s new summer version of their “sloan” pants. I love the way those pants fit — by far the best fitting dress pants I own! ¬†Especially now that they are more slim then previously. ¬†These summer chinos come in lavender, mint green, olive, and khaki color. ¬†They have a “utility” look to them to make them look more chino-y, but I like it since I wanted them for summer and a more business casual look for work. They do have a little wider ankle then the traditional sloan pants, but I was okay with that also since they are more of a relaxed look. ¬†Not quite a “kick flare”, but not flush against your ankle.
I also purchased this little bag from Target. ¬†They started making these bags a few years ago and now are so popular they come in about any color you want! ¬†I used to have a large cognac version, but sold it before we moved since I only wanted to bring my more expensive bags to Florida. ¬†I truly miss is! ¬†Although you can tell the quality of “leather” isn’t the same as a Kate Spade or MK bag, I’ve always been a Target bag fan. ¬†You can usually always find a great “dupe” to a more expensive version that is trendy and will go out of style before you blink, and they hold up surprisingly well! I have my eye now on the larger version of this bag that comes in a slate gray color (here) for fall.

These Old Navy chinos are another summer favorite for work pants. They also come in a variety of colors like the above BR sloan pants.  The material is different, they both are a cotton/spandex mix, but the BR pants are more of a thicker, denim type feel whereas the ON chinos are certainly meant to be a typical khaki type pant. I like them both and love that the ON pants can be rolled up for a relaxed look as shown in my IG picture.

Oh and lets not forget this peplum top!  I have lately been a little overly happy to find these fluttery tops that cover your tummy! Not to mention the ruffles add enough interest to make you seem not quite as lazy putting your outfit together than a plain tee. #amiright #easy #imlazy

I wore this outfit in yesterdays’ blog post, but didn’t talk a whole about this necklace! ¬†This pretty floral necklace is my first Bauble Bar purchase. I’ve always admired their products, but $30-40 for a necklace seems steep to me. ¬†However, this was exactly what I was looking for this spring and knew I should pick it up before it sold out. ¬†I also love the options posted below, but will wait for those to go on sale. ūüôā
