LOFT has a fantastic sale going on right now! Everything is 50% off + free shipping! It’s online only, however if you go to to your local LOFT store they might honor the online promotion. My local store did! LOFT is sometimes hit or miss for me, so I like to feel the fabrics and try things on in person. I found a ton of great items and snapped some photos to share with you all. All items fit true to size unless I specify otherwise. Happy shopping! 🙂
I love the colors in this floral sleeveless top. It has a stretchy “mock” neck which is easy to get over your head (pet peeve of mine are turtlenecks that are too tight and mess up your ‘do putting them on!). The skirt is a stretchy knit material that is a little heavier and I could easily see wearing with tights in the winter. I didn’t bring the skirt home with me only because I’ve been loving this one from J.Crew Factory and although a different material, I feel like the buttons make them very similar.
Another item I came specifically in store to try on was this pretty striped ruffle top — also a mock neck! I love these necklines, especially in Florida, because they keep the chill out without wearing a scarf. I can throw a cardigan on over top and my neck stays warm. The material is also stretchy and a knit-like material. Not quite sweater, but a perfect transition piece.
I’m still on the search for the perfect dark skinny denim, so here I am again trying another pair! Alas, was a no-go. I didn’t like how tight they were in the waist. If I sized up they would have been too loose in the legs. I’ve had my eye on these from Old Navy — I think I might order them with the next good sale!
This gold-tone is such a beautiful color. The top is a poly-blend of some sort, so not really warm, but would look beautiful with a cardigan. LOFT advertised this top with a gray skirt online, so I grabbed a pair of gray chinos on my way to the fitting room to see how I liked the pairing. I like it! However, the chinos were pretty basic and a little tight on me. I passed on those.
However, I did pick up these olive skinny pants! They have been on my wish list and are darker than my Sloan’s from Banana. I love the way the LOFT Marisa skinny pants fit so these were a no brainer!
I wish I had gotten a closer shot of this button wrap skirt – it has a dark burgundy base, but there is a navy blue, white, and coral pattern tied into it – it’s beautiful! I love the color scheme. It most certainly came home with me. 🙂 The turtleneck sweater was a meh. I didn’t like the way it fit. It was bulky and I felt it didn’t fit me well. Not to mention itchy and I was overheating in it lol.
And last, but not least – another button wrap skirt! Ha! I just love them – a great trend for fall. The online model in this skirt was wearing a gray top, so I wanted to replicate that in store to see how I liked it. I couldn’t really find a gray top I liked, so I grabbed this peasant blouse. I actually quite like the blouse, but they didn’t have my size in stock. I’m wearing a Petite/M, but since it’s loose fitting needed either a S or XS. I might order the top later on, I haven’t decided yet. However, the skirt I love! It fits the same as the burgundy skirt above, but the double buttons give it a different look.
This is the outfit I wore to go shopping – nothing special, except these sneakers are so comfy. They are different and very trendy with the side laces, but I think you’ll love them also. I do recommend sizing down. I’m wearing my normal size 5.5 and they are a little roomy. They also come in a few colors if pink isn’t your thing. 🙂
