Work Style: Winter Skirts

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing a couple of work outfit ideas with skirts I’ve picked up this past winter season! Sizing is limited on both skirts, but I’ll link other options below ~ most of which are easy to throw tights and loafers/booties on if you live up north! Printed skirts with a little color and/or pattern are so easy to match with a plain sweater also. It’s such an easy formulation to follow: printed skirt + colored/bold sweater with plain coloring. I always avoid ‘boring’ sweaters in the store, but then regret not having them in my closet when I pick up a fun skirt!

Outfit #1:

This skirt shows off one of my favorite winter patterns – houndstooth! The black and white print makes it easy to pair with any fun colored sweater. I sized up one in this skirt – it felt tight in my regular size around the waist.

Outfit #2:

Next up is this adorable tweed skirt from LOFT! Sorry for the poor lighting – you can tell I took this picture before work and the sun was hardly up. 🙂 This skirt is darn near sold out already unfortunately. Sizes keep popping back up online though, so keep an eye out! I will link a couple of other options below also. However, same idea as the outfit above – printed skirt with basic sweater. I’m wearing my regular size in both the skirt and sweater.

This was post was pretty short and sweet, but hopefully it helped you get ready for work a little easier!
