Casual Style: Linen tank + Scallop shorts

Happy Saturday! Today’s outfit is featuring one of my favorite summer color combinations ~ olive green + white + leopard! I love this time of year because the moodier hues start to become more popular (preparing us for fall lol) mixed in with the bright and fun colors giving us that nautical summer vibe! I’m here for it all and love that I can utilize almost all of my closet and still feel ‘in style’!

My tank top is a new arrival from J.Crew Factory. It comes in 5 colorways and perfect for summer with a linen blend material. Reviews say it runs large, so I did go down to an XS. While overall it fits fine, I do think it’s a tad tight in my chest area. If you are are heavier in the chest like I am, I would recommend sticking with your regular size, especially if you have a longer torso. I was worried if I kept my regular size with my petite frame that the tank top straps would have been too long (they are non-adjustable).

My shorts are also a J.Crew Factory find and fit is TTS. The scallop trim adds a fun detail just to elevate a plain outfit. They are on sale for $25 and come in several color options as well!
