Casual Style: Puff Sleeve Blouse

Today’s outfit is for my southern readers! Although our evenings have cooled down a smidge, our days are still pretty hot. So how do we dress for fall when we can’t wear sweaters and booties? You throw in fall trends and colors and do your best!

My top is another new arrival from Target (their fall fashion finds have been on point!). My top comes in 3 colors/prints. My favorite was this rust color, but I was drawn to the pink polka dot also! And of course you can’t beat a price point of $25. From the puff sleeves, ruffled collar, length meant for a tuck of some sort, and buttons – you have yourself a perfect fall top (but the short sleeves are meant for down south 🙂 ). Fit is TTS.

I have to give a shout out to my jeans also — this specific pair is on clearance, so sizing is limited, but they are from GAP. They used to be called their ‘cigarette’ line, but really just their cheeky/straight line. Since I’m petite, super wide leg jeans are just not friendly on my body type. I will always love skinny jeans, but if I want to venture into an updated look, these jeans fit the bill! I love that they are not overdone, but still trendy. I take my regular petite size.
