Winter Style: Colorblock Sweater

How do you like to transition from the holiday outfits to early spring? I usually mix it up – once January 2nd hits, the holiday/fall gear is in the back of my closet, and out comes late winter styles! I like to switch between a gray/black based outfit like shown below, winter whites, and of course spring colors! Since we live in northern Indiana, our weather can be a little tricky. That usually drives my outfit choices. If it’s a calm warmer-ish sunny day – give me the pinks and corals! If it’s a wintery snow-cold type of day – I opt for the outfit below. And the cycle continues at least through March lol. And then you have February and Valentines Day in the mix, so there is a solid few weeks of pinks and reds that make a comeback haha.

Since I’m stuck with mostly maternity clothes now for the next 8-10 weeks, it’s been a minute since I’m shopped at Express. I saw an ad pop up the other day that all sweaters were on sale and this colorblock version caught my eye! I had a $40 reward expiring, so I made the best of it and ordered the colorblock sweater below and this lilac sweater. Mostly I’m hoping come March (post-baby in my stomach era) I can still wear both sweaters for a little while! Both sweaters have nearly 5 star reviews also!
