Target Style Finds, Vol. 2
Happy Monday everyone! Today’s blog post is sharing a few new Target finds! Slowly new items are starting to trickle in for Spring and I’m here for it! Every year I dive deep into refreshing our home decor after Christmas. Usually it’s just little home decor items here and there, maybe new throw pillows, etc. but this year we will have lived in Florida for 6 years (crazy to think about!) and big items are starting to look a little worn. I’m planning on completing a “refresh” on a lot of our main rooms in the home this year and Target is always a great place to start!
While I don’t have any huge, groundbreaking items to share (yet), I found a few cute new finds that I picked up this week!
The first new arrival is this really cute shirt dress from Target’s Who What Wear line! Only $37 and comes in a ton of color options. I haven’t placed an order for this dress yet, but I think my favorite colors are the coral or fuchsia options, since those will be easiest to wear with sneakers/jean jacket or cardigan/flats for work.
Next up are these adorable new sneakers from Universal Thread! Only $25, they also come in plain white and an option with a pop of color. I ordered these and went down 1/2 size. Usually Target shoes fit me large, so I’m hoping that was a good choice. I’ll let ya’ll know!
The last new clothing item are these denim shorts from Universal Thread. Their shorts are usually insanely popular with Target lovers, so I figured I’d give them a try! They also come in a gray color, but I asked my husband and he liked the peach (random… lol)! They also pair really well with the sneakers. And if you order both online, you get free shipping (which is what I did haha). I went up one size because I can’t stand when my shorts are fitted, so I’ll update on sizing here as well.
Next up are a few items that came home with me this week. I’m always on the hunt for new coffee mugs. One of my favorite things to ‘collect’, and I love having a variety of different types of mugs to use depending on the time of year. My husband hates this lol! Target is one of my favorite places to buy new mugs, and a couple of them came home with me the other day. Opalhouse is a Target brand that likely makes my favorite home decor pieces, and their mugs are just as great! Below is a cute floral mug and initial mug that I thought were perfect. Only $5!
We’ve been looking for small wall ‘art’ to finish our kitchen nook for quite awhile. I’ve created a small gallery wall, and needed a couple more eclectic pieces to finish it. This hanging beaded piece was perfect! It’s only $10 also! It’s not huge ~ about a foot in length? So definitely just a filler piece for your wall.
And last, but not least, sharing this adorable little hanging plant! Also only $10, this is another great ‘filler’ piece for your wall! You could also hang it from the ceiling if you have space for it.
… and that’s it for this week at Target! I’ll share new finds as we progress through our house updates ~ next week we are working on our lanai (patio) and replacing the area rug, door mat, and some decor. I already have things on order from Target. 🙂
