Amazon Swim
Happy Tuesday friends! How is the weather where you live? Hopefully come Memorial Day it will be warm enough for swimsuits! I wanted to share a couple of affordable swimsuit options from none other than Amazon! One of their most popular brands is called “Cupshe” and I haven’t actually purchased a new swimsuit in a very long time (#thanksCovid haha) and decided now was the time to finally give them a try. They come with praised reviews and highly recommended.
While they make numerous bikini options, I’m not as comfortable as I once was pulling off the bikinis anymore. And sharing swimsuits on social media is definitely a big step for me – ha! So I did wear a coverup (which I’ll also link below).
First up is this one piece suit featuring a fun geometric print and double straps in the back! This one is my favorite of the 2 suits and fits me the best. This swimsuit has been popular for awhile. I actually kept adding and deleting it to my cart for a long time – not convinced I would wear a one piece swimsuit, but I’m honestly way more comfortable in a one piece and hate I waited so long!
As far as sizing goes, a lot of the reviews recommended going up one size. I’m normally a size medium (I wear a size 6/28 in pants) so I purchased a large. The straps are adjustable and I feel like this suit fits me very well. Maybe a tad big, but it’s comfortable and doesn’t feel loose. Based on Cupshe’s size chart I should have ordered a medium, but I think I could have gone either way. The medium probably would have fit me better in the top portion, but thankfully the adjustable straps worked out for the better.
My coverup is simple and only $15. It’s an easy alternative if you are just walking from car to beach or pool. If I was going to eat out at the beach or possibly get chilly after swimming, see below for a better coverup option. I ordered the large/XL option in this coverup also – again, some reviews said it fit small, so I figured I could tie it tighter if it was too big. And that’s honestly how it worked out. A tad big, but easy to tie and doesn’t faze me there is some extra material. Several color options available.
Next up is this adorable one piece leopard print swimsuit. I love, love the print on this suit! This swimsuit is newer than the suit above, so there were less reviews at the time I ordered to decide on sizing. I went ahead and got another size large, but honestly this one I would have been better with the medium. Again, the straps are adjustable, but I feel like the top was a bit big on me chest-wise. I would go with your size based on Cupshe’s size chart and go with your measurements (not your pant size). Otherwise, the material is great and definitely recommend!
Lastly, if you are looking for a cute and affordable swim coverup, this is a great option! Only $23 and comes in a ton of color options! There are also almost 6,300 4+ star ratings! I’m wearing the XS/S size. Fit is comfortable and I’ve already washed and worn it again and does not shrink.
