Avara: Resort Collection picks
Hi friends! Last week I shared Avara’s release of their resort collection and today wanted to share with you my top picks! I love so many items from this release (see original blog post here), but alas had to narrow it down to my top faves. You all know I love color, love fun prints, and these items have both! My husband and I are hopefully planning a couple of vacations this year to Key West and also down to Naples to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary (we had a destination wedding at a resort in Naples when we still lived in the midwest), so these items will be perfect!

This top is made by the coveted THML brand ~ my favorite boutique brand by far! The quality is fantastic and there are always extra details you won’t find in regular brands. Between the beautiful print, slightly ruffled mock neck, and fringe detail on the sleeves, this top is loads of fun! Fit is TTS. I’m wearing my regular size small.

The shorts are easy, breezy, and perfect for warm weather! The waistband is super stretchy and could easily wear over a solid colored swimsuit as a coverup. They are high-waisted and fit is TTS. I usually wear a 6/28 in bottoms and the medium fits perfectly.

I feel like this top is the epitome of resort wear! A bright and vibrant tropic print combined with a classic sleeve fit. The fabric is lightweight and perfect for warmer weather. Fit is TTS, but has little stretch. I’m wearing my regular size small and it fits well. I would recommend sizing up if bustier.

This dress will work for both resort wear, a fun summer party, or even for an outdoor wedding if you are a guest! I love all of the details from the ruffled sleeves, wrap effect at the bust, and slight smocked waist. I wore flat sandals here, but easily dress it up with a block or heel sandal! Fit is TTS for a fitted waist – I’m wearing my regular size medium. Sometimes a dress will fit me too loose up top since I normally wear a small shirt size, but thankfully it’s only a little bigger than I would like.
