Casual Style: $15 dress! + Cute peplum top
Hi everyone! Saying hello to you from our new home! I’ve been pretty run down lately – this is our 3rd home in 6 years since we’ve moved to Florida (and by that I mean 3rd home of our own…. we’ve stayed in 3 ‘temp’ homes as well – so 6 places in 6 years – eek!)… and anyway, it gets harder with each move. Basically because we accumulate more junk treasures! LOL. Thankfully this new house has a very similar floor plan downstairs compared to our last home, so it was easy to find a place for most of our furniture. Wall spacing is a little different, so we are trying move pictures around and find places for all of our decor. That includes our wall space in the master bedroom – the mirror I’m taking a photo in front of is too big for this wall! It hangs over into the window space, so I’m thinking we will move it into the foyer like we had in our 1st home. And hopefully find a second mirror for the master bedroom. Eh, anyway -1st world problems ha!
So I’ve finally started to get dressed again – hooray! Well, dressed in more than sweats and yoga pants. 🙂 I wanted to share a couple of recent outfits, including this cute summer dress! I actually have this dress in 2 colorways now – I also have a gray leopard print which I love for the fall months since it’s still hot down here well into ‘fall’. The new color options are really cute! My dress is on sale for $15 today also! I might order the camo color because it’s on clearance for $11! I’m wearing a size small.

Next up is this cute peplum top! From one of my favorite Nordstrom house brands, called Caslon. It definitely has an oversized fit ~ I was a little unsure if my regular size would be too large, but I ended up keeping it anyway. The fit is easy and meant to be a little big. I would size down if you are in between sizes. I’m wearing a size small. It also has raw-like edges, so keep that in mind. I took a steamer to the sleeves to crease them up into a folded sleeve a little more, but it’s meant to look like an easy weekend top. Only $29 and comes in a ton of coloring options.
