Casual Style: Puff Sleeve Sweatshirt

Hi all! Happy weekend! (skip farther below if you’re here for the outfit! 🙂 )

First & foremost you might be wondering what’s been going on with the moving saga? …We sold our house in Venice! (well, it’s pending anyway) and went under contract with the new house in Tampa. Assuming this sale contract is good to go and we close on the house in Venice, thankfully the new buyers are allowing us to leaseback the home for 45 days until our new home is finished in Tampa (which should be in April). I’m worried the new house will get delayed due to Covid backorder problems, but worst case I figure we can rent an Airbnb or Extended Stay type situation (remember, we have 2 dogs… including a Greyhound) until the new house closes. Not optimal, but I’m trying not worry about that. One thing at a time.

Positively? Remember we are buying a spec house (inventory home) so everything is “already chosen.” I was pretty bummed about that because the builder put carpet in all of the bedrooms. Which, um, is cramping my blogging style. 😛 Ha! And also… carpet… dogs… No. Lol! But… good news! The builder allowed us to upgrade and extend the wood plank tile throughout the home (that was already in the kitchen/living spaces/wet areas) and some sort of wood grain laminate flooring upstairs (that was already being installed in the bonus room, will now be installed in the upstairs bedroom). I’m not sure how styled flatlays will look, but I’ll take what I can get!

So anyway, one more step in the moving process is done. Now onto the outfit! Today I’m sharing a new arrival from the one and only… Target! This puff sleeve sweatshirt is from the Who What Wear line which is generally very good quality pieces with the affordable price tag. You might remember I have a similar puff sleeve sweatshirt from the same line in a leopard print. The fit is the same and just as cute! I’m wearing my regular size (small). It comes in several print options also which are pretty dang cute!

My jeans are a new arrival from Express. High waisted and very soft with stretch! I’m wearing my regular ‘jegging’ size (I always go up one size) in an 8S (shorter inseam).
