Casual Style: Dip-Dye Dress
Hi everyone! I wanted to share probably the easiest and comfiest dress of the summer! I love it so much I actually purchased it in a solid color also! This color is actually a dip-dye ‘print’ of sorts – a little bit of an ombre or tie-dye effect. The neutral color makes it easy to throw on neutral/white sandals or sneakers. I dressed it up with some older jeweled sandals (I linked a similar pair below) and some fun jewelry. The armholes do come down a bit on my petite frame so I opted for wearing this bralette which I have in a couple of colorways also and it’s super…

Casual Style: Linen tank + Scallop shorts
Happy Saturday! Today’s outfit is featuring one of my favorite summer color combinations ~ olive green + white + leopard! I love this time of year because the moodier hues start to become more popular (preparing us for fall lol) mixed in with the bright and fun colors giving us that nautical summer vibe! I’m here for it all and love that I can utilize almost all of my closet and still feel ‘in style’! My tank top is a new arrival from J.Crew Factory. It comes in 5 colorways and perfect for summer with a linen blend material. Reviews say it runs large, so I did go down to…

Casual Style: $15 dress! + Cute peplum top
Hi everyone! Saying hello to you from our new home! I’ve been pretty run down lately – this is our 3rd home in 6 years since we’ve moved to Florida (and by that I mean 3rd home of our own…. we’ve stayed in 3 ‘temp’ homes as well – so 6 places in 6 years – eek!)… and anyway, it gets harder with each move. Basically because we accumulate more junk treasures! LOL. Thankfully this new house has a very similar floor plan downstairs compared to our last home, so it was easy to find a place for most of our furniture. Wall spacing is a little different, so we…

Casual Style: Flutter Sleeve Top
Hi friends! Talk about a whirlwind of a last week or so! I knew things were going to get busy because I worked the last 7 out of 8 days. But then I had a crap day at work right in the beginning of my 7 day stint and it just ruined my vibe for the rest of the week. I really hate that! And then I think I just got really run down and developed a sinus-y infection (not saying the “C” word! lol!). I feel a lot better today, but that facial pain/headache that comes with sinus infections are the worst! And so I slept the day away…

Casual Style: Summer Dress
Happy Monday friends! I hope you all had a great weekend! I feel pretty refreshed before my work week kicks off tomorrow. It’s a big one – I work the next 7 out of 8 days – so I might not get to all of my regularly scheduled posts. The benefit is I’ll have several days off in a row once I get through the 8 days. Plusses and minuses I guess! I wanted to share this cute & affordable dress from Prime today. It’s a new arrival from the 2021 season and I love the mixed print and colorway. There are quite a few other print options available also.…

Casual Style: Rust & Olive
Happy Thursday friends! Today I wanted to share a bold spring/summer outfit using 2 of my favorite colorways ~ rust (or cinnabar to be exact lol) and a shade of olive green. Both colors are popular in the summer months because they are so easy to transition into fall looks. Since neutral hues have been so popular this spring, we are already seeing quite a bit of rusty brown, beige, and every neutral color in between trend in stores. While a pair of white or lighter denim would be an obvious choice pairing with this top, olive is a great choice also! Especially olive shorts if you live in Florida…

Casual Style: Midi Skirt + Sneakers
Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing another way to style the ever so popular midi skirt this spring/summer! Cropped tees are hot right now and you aren’t going to find this gal with her midriff showing, but I will gladly wear it with a high waisted skirt! And since the tee is a little sporty, sneakers are an acceptable option for footwear. I don’t really have much else to add except throw on your favorite jewelry and call it a day! My skirt comes in 13 prints and colorways. If you aren’t a fan of the cropped tee, you can still tie knot in your favorite oversized tee also! Would still…

Casual Style: Floral Tie-Waist Shorts
Happy Thursday! Today I’m sharing these printed tie-waist shorts from J.Crew Factory. They are really good! For all you ladies out there who struggle with weight in their stomach area, these shorts are very flattering. The inseam length says 3.5″ on the website, but they feel longer on me. Overall, between the tie-waist, the crisp poplin material, and stretchy waistband – these shorts are a win for me! They are a dressier look, but I would wear these with flat sandals as well as a dressier heel. If you are traveling to a beachy area anytime soon, these are a great option for eating outside and staying comfortable with the…

Casual Style: Tiered Ruffle Dress
Happy Cinco de Mayo! So today never really meant a whole lot to me ~ I love some tacos in my life, but not a big margarita girl, however a couple years ago this day took on a new meaning! May 5th is our little 2 year old pup’s happy ‘gotcha’ day – and he has only changed my life for the better ever since! So we celebrate today for a different reason, but for all those that love a good time (safely distanced of course haha) I hope you have a great evening! Today I’m sharing another affordable and fun dress option for this spring/summer. This dress is from…

Casual Style: Tie-Dye Midi Skirt
Hi everyone! Sharing another fun skirt casual skirt option today! This midi skirt from J.Crew Factory is a recent new arrival on their website. This skirt comes in 2 colorways ~ the blue shown here and also a pretty yellow hue. I styled it quite simply here with a basic white tee and a neutral sandal. There are no petite sizes, so I’m wearing a regular size medium. Honestly, I think it fits a tad big. Thankfully the drawstring waist fixes that, but I could have probably could have taken a size small (I’m a normal size 28/6 for reference). If you are in between sizes, I would recommend sizing…
