Flatlay Style 3.7.23
Hi everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start! I had a nice 3 day weekend off work to spend with family and it’s taken me a couple of days to get back into the swing of things – don’t you love when you need a vacation after a vacation? I purchased these sandals recently in ‘coffee’ – I’ve always wanted a pair of dark chocolate brown sandals and these were exactly what I was looking for! Not to mention they have 5 star reviews! Since then I’ve been on the hunt for tops that have a similar coloring to match the sandals. I came across this…

Flatlay Style 3.1.23
Hi friends! My schedule has been all over the place this week with appointments, errands, and family is coming in town to visit Friday. So needless to say my hair is living in a top knot while sporting whatever gym clothes I can find this week – not very fashionable or bloggable. 🙂 I threw together a few flatlays I thought I could share instead! I love my colors. I love my prints. But sometimes neutrals make you feel good also! I picked up these shorts at Target last week (in 3 colors… they are really good!), and these green pair are great to style with natural colors like beige,…

Flatlay: L-O-V-E Tee
Hi friends! Happy…. New Year? Lol. I just realized my last post was created on December 31st… wow! Over a month ago! I get it though. I honestly ran out of content, Florida was so hot in December and I know many of you who follow me here are from northern states. As much as I am not really wanting to see snow type outfits, I’m sure many of you were not itching for spring in January either! However, spring arrivals are rolling in and I’ve really missed blogging – so perfect timing I suppose! Spring breaks are right around the corner and I know a lot of people are…

Flatlay Style: Striped Button Sweater
Hi everyone! I hope everyone survived the work week! I actually have one more day to get through – we had to pick either Christmas Eve or NYE to work and I chose NYE. I hope I’m not regretting it as I kind of forgot that in the world of retail pharmacy anyway, NYE is one of the busiest (if not THE busiest) day of the year because people try to get all of their refills in before the end of the year before insurance coverage changes. Now with my new job, I AM the insurance haha! And I only really deal with the expensive, unusual cases that include medications…

Casual Style: Winter Mules
Hi friends! Today I wanted to share a new version of one of my favorite mules! No doubt you probably know I love the Steve Madden mule. I buy 2-3 new pairs usually every winter season. And especially now that I’m WFH, I’m slowly starting to sell my old work flats in order to make room for casual shoes. Mules and sneakers are my go-to in the winter since we live in Florida – I love booties also! – but unfortunately don’t get to wear them as much as I’d like with our warm seasons. Today’s post is a share of my most recent purchase – this beautiful tweed mule.…

Casual Style: Snap Sleeve Thermal
I’ve been all about the thermals lately – they fit my current lifestyle and work with both jeans and pajama pants. Unless they are oversized, I love that they are easy to layer over with a cardigan as well. This new thermal caught my eye and was definitely worth a blog post! The little details make it more than just a thermal for sure! There are 5 different colors to choose from (love the teal and elderberry colors also!). Sizing is somewhat tricky – I sized down per Nordstrom’s recommendation, but could have probably went with my regular size also. Since this top is more stylish than a regular thermal…

Casual Style: Embellished Hoodie
Sharing another little touch of the upcoming holiday season today! I love the embellished detail on this hoodie. You can stay comfy while being a little dressy also! This hoodie comes in 3 colors. I honestly loved all the colors but was drawn to this plum color. I paired it here with leggings, but could also wear with jeans as well. Right now it’s also on sale 40% off! hoodie | leggings | sneakers (mine are old – these have similar vibe)

Casual Style: Holiday Stripes
How strange is this year guys?! Who knew I’d have Christmas colors new for the season already in my closet?! J.Crew Factory released their Xmas line up last week and of course I’m here for it!…. but, too soon? It’s not even Halloween yet! I suspect things will sell extra fast this year with the expected shortage of items, so I suppose that’s part of the reason for the early release. However it made me giggle because what will the November release look like? Spring break? Lol! I guess TBD! We are expected to have a warmer winter down south, so I suppose if I start wearing spring greens in…

Casual Style: Striped Sweater
Hi friends! Thought I would just pop in (you know, at random) like I said I would haha! Honestly this was maybe the most perfect time to take a little break from blogging as I’m truly not seeing a ton of ‘good’ buys lately. I full expect we’ve hit the max for fun sweaters and will start to see all of the velvet and wool itchiness start to hit stores! However, if you aren’t at your max for cute sweaters, I wanted to share a LOFT find that I actually purchased maybe around Labor Day? Seems like ages ago! It sold out overnight and haven’t seen it restocked until now!…

Casual Style: Plaid Ruffles
If you’ve been following me for awhile, you definitely know I have a soft spot for plaid in the fall! I literally want all the plaid shirts and have a hard time reeling myself in! I guess maybe part of that is I love a preppy look with a plaid shirt under a sweater or a longer tunic plaid shirt over leggings with sneakers. Maybe that’s the Indiana talking. 🙂 Well, I’m here today to share this cute ruffle plaid top from @LOFT! This one is a shorter length and perfect for a front tuck with high waisted jeans! Whether skinny, straight, bootcut, you name it – it’s a good…
