Flatlay Style: Striped Button Sweater

Hi everyone! I hope everyone survived the work week! I actually have one more day to get through – we had to pick either Christmas Eve or NYE to work and I chose NYE. I hope I’m not regretting it as I kind of forgot that in the world of retail pharmacy anyway, NYE is one of the busiest (if not THE busiest) day of the year because people try to get all of their refills in before the end of the year before insurance coverage changes. Now with my new job, I AM the insurance haha! And I only really deal with the expensive, unusual cases that include medications not normally covered or require special circumstances. Now that being said, authorizations on these cases mostly expire 12/31, so will people realize this and lose their minds tomorrow? Maybe… Likely… lol. Tomorrow will be fun. 🙂

Anyway, I’m here to share a couple of new finds – this sweater and jeans! It’s been a bit since I’ve purchased anything from LOFT, but I’m loving their new arrivals! We are already transitioning into the season of “love” aka Valentines Day. January and February are classic for shades of pink before we transition to Kelly green for St. Patty’s Day, and then pastels for spring.

I adore the button detail on the sweater and it’s a great fit as well! I need to do a try on of this outfit – Florida warmed up again this week, but we have a cool down coming again so I’ll hopefully get to wear this soon. These jeans are fantastic! I truly mean that. You know how the big trend right now is basically anything but a skinny jean? I’ve embraced the slim/straight jean and I even love J.Crew’s take on the demi boot, but when it comes down to it, I still love a great skinny jean.

However, I would beg to say the “jegging” era is coming to an end. I have several pairs of jeans from the last couple of years in my closet from AE and Express that very much have a jegging fit. They are very skinny and fit like a legging. Everytime I put them on, I’m like ehhhh that’s too tight haha! Poshmark pile here they come! So anyway, when I tried these jeans on from LOFT, they are a great fit! Definitely not a jegging – almost like a looser skinny jean? Fitted, but not tight. If that makes sense. Yup, try on photo coming to a blog near you! Lol. Anyway – highly recommend! Both fit TTS.
