J.Crew Factory May 2022 ~ New Arrivals!
Hi everyone! J.Crew Factory just released their new arrivals for May – and they did not disappoint! Fun fruity prints are popular this spring/summer – I’ve seen lots of pineapples, lemons, and strawberries! I think I love that…. in moderation. 🙂 I created a few outfits below using my favorite items in this release.
The ‘cottage core’ trend made popular by our Gen Z pop is trying very hard for us millennials. This pretty midi dress definitely gives me the folklore/little house on the prairie vibes… but somehow in a good way! There are 2 coloring options, I just prefer this colorway since I think it will pair best with a denim jacket (I freeze consistently in restaurants). And hello, those statement earrings! They also come in a few coloring options.

Sleeveless sweater + seersucker shorts
This outfit is straight out the 101 guide for dressing preppy lol – and I’m here for it! I ordered all of these items (minus the sandals since I have a similar pair in my closet). I will definitely share once I receive everything in the mail! *Fit tip: I always size up in these shorts. I wear a 28/6 in bottoms and take a size 8 in JCF chino shorts.

I already received this dress in the mail – and it’s really cute! It’s affordable and waist flattering. I wear a size small on top and medium on bottom and went with a size medium in this dress. I would say it fits TTS. I didn’t feel like the top portion was too big and the belt is easy to make looser or tighter depending on how you like the fit. The dress also comes in several other colorways!

Smocking is really popular this spring. It was popular last year as well, but I feel like it’s everywhere this year. I actually ordered this top and I’m on the fence if I need a larger size. Smocking sometimes isn’t the most flattering if you don’t have a flat tummy. I’m fairly self conscious of that area on my own body and may exchange for a size up. It’s an adorable top otherwise! And is available in a few solid and print colorways!
