J.Crew Factory New Arrivals ~ July 2024

Hi everyone! How the heck is it almost August?! I’m seeing pumpkins and fall new arrivals hit stores and it feels somehow earlier and earlier every year… but it’s also my favorite time of year, so I’m kind of here for it? However, I’m not here for our impending cold weather here in the midwest! Just for the cute clothes and home decor. 🙂

J.Crew Factory released their kind of fall transition line up a few days ago and I really like several of their pieces! I would say most of their items are less colorful, more of a neutral palette, but I like that so many pieces can be mixed and matched for work/casual. I put together a few outfits below and how I would style them! I included a lot of the same accessories for each outfit also. I feel like less is more lately. I usually pick one ‘fun’ piece for each outfit – whether that be the earrings, bracelet, necklace, or even my shoes! But otherwise I have been trending toward keeping my jewelry a little more basic. 🙂

cardigan sweater:

I don’t know if it’s me getting old (er) lol, or the fact that I’ve always been a big fan of cardigans since I’m always cold, but I really love the idea of a ‘classy’ cardigan or ‘lady jackets’ as I think they are called. There are a couple of navy blue/white striped options available as well. I love the look of adding a tank or top with a little detail (I used the cowl neck tank top shown below) paired with a straight leg jean and a nice flat or mule. I would feel put together no matter if I’m at a casual workplace or out to dinner! The Mary Jane mules are also growing on me. They were a huge hit last fall and I think trending into this season as well!

ruffle collar henley:

Love love this cute top! 4 colorways available. Pair it with jeans, a skirt, sweatpants, whatever – it’s cute and comfy and adds that right kind of detail! I feel like you can dress it up with a skirt and heels for work or wear it casual like shown below. I paired a colorful headband with my outfit below, but I also found those adorable leopard sneakers below at JCF and those add a super cute detail as well! This is probably my favorite JCF find this new release.

printed slip skirt:

I work from home. I have zero reasons to own this skirt, but I truly love the print and love the look paired with a cardigan and these cute mules! If I still worked out of the home as a retail pharmacist, I would absolutely wear this paired with sneakers as well. If I did have a reason to wear this – basically I need to find myself a reason ha! – I would also pair it with a block heel sandal for a nice dinner out or dressy type of event. There are a ton of solid color options available as well. Annnnd the more reasonable version of myself found a ruffled top in the same print that would pair well with jeans and fit my lifestyle. 🙂 Also, cute cardigan crochet sweater option? Love it!

gauze top:

Another cute, but casual outfit. Easily pair it with these mules for work (leopard version!) or sneakers for a casual weekend outfit and still feel put together. This gauze top is still summer friendly, but love the pretty pre-fall coloring options. I think JCF created the earrings to go with the top specifically as they each come in colorways that coordinate well with each other. I also love the wide leg pant as a nice option separate from the popular straight leg.

poplin button-down shirt:

Another favorite find this new release! I love this classic button down. Several color options available. Pair it now with straight leg jeans or shorts with sandals or sneakers, pair it this fall with a bootcut jean and booties when the temps drop. I would also pair it with this shorter skirt option for work with cute shoes as well (same as the printed midi skirt above, but a shorter hem). You truly can’t go wrong with a few of these in your closet!
