• Wish List, Vol. 2

Multiple times a week I like to cruise my favorite retailer websites and add new arrivals to my cart. However, they usually sit there in my cart until a good sale hits, before I purchase! These were the items that caught my eye this week! pointelle cardigan – Similar to my “style under $30” post from yesterday, I am wanting to add a few button-up slouchy cardigans to my closet. This one caught my eye, I love the pointelle detail! chino shorts – If you live in Florida, you basically live in shorts 75% of the year. My rule is it has to be over 82 degrees for me to…

  • Style Under $30, Vol. 1

Happy weekend everyone! Since I like to reserve Sunday blog posts for my ‘wish list’, in the past I’ve reserved Saturdays for my ‘Saturday Sales’ posts. I think for my ‘new’ (but not new… lol) blog, I’m going to start a “Style Under $30” post on Saturdays, which will combine both affordable finds already priced under $30, and also fantastic sales! Here are my finds below! ruched sleeve tee – 30% off (priced at $28) – comes in 5 color options. I’ve seen this top posted on other blogger’s pages — definitely the perfect layering piece! floral shift skirt – 60% off with code ‘TREAT’ – I collect these skirts!…

    Amazon Review: Blooming Jelly

Hi everyone! Today’s blog post is dedicated toward the review of one of my favorite Amazon brands called Blooming Jelly. I was given the opportunity to review one of their dresses earlier this year, and now again with another new product – this cute jumpsuit! I wanted to provide a couple of different styled looks, so you can see how it tucks into a skirt and also jeans/pants. It’s definitely a great staple to have in your closet this fall if you like jumpsuits! Overall, I would definitely give this jumpsuit a positive review! I love the button detail on the front, it’s a little thicker material ( I didn’t…

The New (Favorite) $20 Target Sweater

Hi everyone! Say hello to a few Target new arrivals! I swear they’ve been killing it lately with pre-fall items! My favorite sweater that returns year after year, is their $20 crew-neck, no-frills, pullover sweater. Target always come out with best prints and colors with this sweater, it washes well, and can be easily tucked in to a skirt or worn over pants or jeans. As expected, they always have a new take on the season’s hottest leopard print, but this year the stripes are my favorite! I ordered the fuchsia/turquoise option right away shown in my flatlay below, but then they released an awesome coral/purple blend also! (referred to…

    Wish List, Vol. 1

Hi friends! I thought I would kick of my first ‘blog’ post with a classic Wish List post like old times! I always like to take things easy on the weekends when it comes to blogging – my husband and I don’t get a lot of work days off together (quick fact… we are both pill pushers, I mean pharmacists! ha!), so weekends are usually (well, pre-Covid) doing something fun together. I can’t wait for the weather to finally cool down in Florida this fall (at least in the mornings), since we love to take our 2 dogs hiking to the various state parks. Anyway, so weekend posts I like…

  • I’m baaaaack!

Hi friends! My goodness, it’s been so long! If you don’t follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you probably have no idea what happened to my blog. After the pandemic started, I clung onto my blog as long as I could, but between the stress of all the unknown about the virus, combined with worry over my own job, and of course worry for everyone and everything else – I decided not to resume blogging in April (this was when my payment was due to renew my website subscription). However, I truly miss blogging. I miss the babble and talk and a space where I can actually write about why…
