Work Style: Tie-Waist Skirt
Well hello friends! I hope you all are having a great Monday so far. I’m off work again today, but then head back tomorrow. I’m motivated to kind of keep up my blog this week and post as much as I can, but I feel like I don’t have a ton of content.
You’ve heard me say this before, but the ‘transition’ months are always the worst. We are all kind of burned out from summer fashion, but it’s still too hot to wear fall fashion. As a blogger, I try to post ‘transitional’ outfit posts as much as I can, but a lot of times that doesn’t make a ton of sense in Florida either. Ahh, so here we are. I did order a couple of items from J.Crew Factory’s recent release (as a whole not even blog worthy… it was okay…loved a couple items!) so I’ll post what I can!
Below I wanted to share a fun little work outfit for a business casual setting. Remember when I used to post in pencil skirts and heels back in the day? Ahh those were the days! Can’t even imagine getting that dressed up now. I still love skirts and nice pants, but they have to be a comfy material. This outfit is an example of what I wear frequently to my workplace. I feel a little dressy, but also comfortable!
Sizing: My skirt fits TTS. Maybe a little big. I’m wearing a size medium which is my normal skirt size (I wear a 28/6 pant size, but like my skirts a little more roomy).
My top is eons old. I linked the newest version from JCF below. 🙂
top (newest version) | skirt | loafers | bag (super old) – great option
