Outfit Ideas, Vol. 1

Hi everyone! Today I’m starting a new section on the blog called ‘outfit ideas’ – not a fancy name, I know, but wasn’t sure what else to call it! You all might remember Polyvore from several years ago — used to be a great way to put outfits together using a search engine and clip/post image software. I’m not sure what happened, I think they were bought out? And for quite awhile there wasn’t a good alternative to creating similar outfit creations. Time has passed, and numerous ‘me too’ companies have popped up. I’ve started utilizing ShopLook for my outfits, and the company has improved vastly over the last year! So now I am back to creating outfits using images I find online, and thought it would be fun to share some with you!

I know for me, sometimes seeing outfits on others that aren’t the same body type or on a flatlay may not work for everyone. For myself, I quite love these computer generated images because it may give me outfit inspirations using items I already have in my closet. I love Pinterest for this very reason! I also sometimes will see a new clothing item released, but can’t grasp in my head how to style it. So I will force myself to come up with 3 outfits using items I already own, so I know I will actually wear the item and utilize it in my closet. That’s where these ‘outfit ideas’ really help!

Below are outfits I’ve put together the last week ~ let me know what you think and if you have any requests!
