LOFT Style Finds, Vol. 1
Well hi friends! So I took a poll over on Insta stories a few days ago asking if you would rather see new arrivals and try-ons from LOFT or Express… and it was re-sounding LOFT! (90 versus 10%!). I don’t know what ya’ll have against Express, geez. Ha! Kidding! I know LOFT is a favorite for a lot of people, and it works out well because my LOFT finds are very much still geared toward summer, with a touch of fall, so my Florida gals will like these outfits! My Express finds can wait because they are mostly sweaters and tops with a thicker material and will be perfect for later this season.
Today everything at LOFT is at least 50% off! And if you catch items on sale, they might be an extra 60-70% off! Definitely some great deals and finds to be had.
Ruffle Sleeve Top + Striped Shimmer Skirt:
You might recognize this outfit from a flatlay a few days ago over on Instagram! I switched up the accessories a bit, but you can see how nicely the top tucks in and this skirt is beautiful! It has “shimmer” stripes, kind of metallic, that are really pretty for fall. The coloring in the stripes vary, which makes it easy to pair different colored tops with it. I’m wearing my normal XS in the top and size 6 in the skirt. Both fit TTS.

Another outfit you might recognize from recent #OOTD post! Also included in the 50% off sale, but the top is actually on sale + additional percent off! I think it comes to be less than $15! And comes in this ivory and a black color. Both fit TTS. The top I’m wearing my normal XS. The skirt was reviewed as running slightly large, so I went with a size small. After washing, I think I could have gone with a small or medium. I usually run in between sizes, so I could have gone either way. The elastic waist isn’t too tight and sits comfortably at my waist line.

Orchid Top + Floral Shift Skirt:
Now these are officially 2 new items to the blog! This pretty ruffle sleeve top is traditional LOFT, and so so pretty! I think this orchid color will pair really well with a lot of items this fall. It will also work well with the tiered skirt above and the one I’ll show you next. Definitely a keeper. I’m wearing my normal XS. The skirt is also traditional LOFT. Fits TTS. And it has pockets! The length is a tad shorter than the other 2 skirts. I’m comfortable wearing it to work, but you might want to go with a regular size if you normally wear petite sizing. I wish it also came in a ‘tall.’ I’m wearing a regular size 6.
I kept the pretty orchid top on to show you how well it pairs with this skirt as well. Such a pretty ‘ditsy’ floral pattern. And it has so many colors in the pattern, the color combos are endless! I’m wearing a small again in this skirt. Very similar fit as the tiered skirt shown above. This one only has one tier of ruffles (versus two). Same elastic waist fit.
Alright, I switched it up and bit out of the skirts and on to jeans! I wore this top un-tucked to show you the fit. Wearing an XS again. This pattern is still very pretty, but only comprises 2 colors. I could easily see myself throwing a jean jacket on over this top and wearing this for our “fall” down south. It does have a ‘mixed media’ material ~ meaning a poly blend in the front and a soft cotton/knit material in the back. My jeans are also from LOFT ~ they are on clearance for $17! They have great reviews, and I do recommend them, but please don’t use me as a model reference. I struggle with white denim and how it fits me. I’m wearing a size 29P here (my normal).
And last, but not least, I want to share this gorgeous split-neck top! It has a dotted pattern as the “base”, with a floral overlay! Very, very pretty. The moodier colors will match with so much this fall, from brown skirts to mauve pants, and any jeans you want! I wore the ‘split-neck’ open, but you can button it also for a more traditional key-hole look.
I also want to give a shout out to these mules! They are essentially the same as the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale mules from Steve Madden, but instead of the chain link on top, these have a traditional buckle. Now, they sold out in my size on the beige/camel mule from the NSale, so I ordered the teal croc color instead. I am keeping those. BUT. Let me tell you – these new arrivals from Steve Madden, unrelated to the NSale, are way comfier! And maybe that’s because I got the croc pattern in the other pair, but these camel mules I can wear all day. The croc mules I could wear to dinner and short walks, but they are too stiff for a long jaunt. I highly recommend the pair I’m wearing!

…. and that’s it! I hope I didn’t overload you with ruffle sleeve tops and skirts from LOFT. But, they are traditional LOFT and I had been way overdue for a LOFT haul! I purge my closet seasonally, and noticed I had a gap in my closet with these types of tops. Let me know if this was helpful for you and if there is a brand you want to see next!
