Avara: New Arrivals
Happy weekend! I guess I’m overly excited because I finally have a little mini vacation from work this week! Stay-cation actually… and I’m ok with that! My dad and stepmom were going to be visiting in Florida this week, but unfortunately had to cancel their plans. I will miss seeing them (they live in Indiana), but I’m really okay just vegetating for a week lol.
My husband had to work one more day before starting his vaca, so I had time to take a few pictures today of a few new arrivals from Avara! Avara is a women’s boutique store located in Dallas and quickly becoming one of my favorite shopping destinations! With the increase in prices at most major retailers the last year, combined with a decrease in quality, I’ve had to step out of my comfort zone from my go-to mall brands.
I was introduced to Avara last year from another blogger and all it took was one online order for me to fall in love! Their prices are going to be a little more expensive then you would find at LOFT or J.Crew Factory, but the quality is wonderful. I also love that I’m supporting a small business. Not to mention, you’re unlikely to have the same outfit on as your neighbor. 🙂

How happy is this sweater?! I love the red and pink color combination – happy for the holidays and right into Valentines season! This sweater is an Avara exclusive, so you won’t see it anywhere else! The knit is very soft (no wool or itch) and a really nice weight. My favorite part is the gathered shoulder detail – so chic! I’m wearing a size small and would say it fits TTS. I styled the sweater as a front tuck, but you could easily wear this untucked also – it’s not cropped and a great length.
This blouse will elevate any outfit! I love that it pairs well with jeans, but could easily be worn to work with pants or a skirt. The sleeves are a blousy, balloon sleeve with a soft rib knit bodice. The base is a solid black and the floral print on the sleeves is a mix of coral/orange, white, blue, and black. The fit is TTS. I’m wearing a size small.
Another Avara exclusive, this sweater has major Anthro vibes! There is a beautiful floral detail toward the neckline of the sweater, textured sleeves, and a gathered wrist – so, so pretty! The coloring is a true ivory. The knit is similar to the red/pink sweater above, a very soft and comfy fabric (no wool, no Acrylic). Fit is TTS. I’m wearing a size small. It also has a great length and could easily be worn un-tucked.
