Casual Style: Floral Top
Similar to my post a couple days ago, this is another ‘fall in Florida’ top! I do this every year – I get so so excited about fall/winter that I buy all the new fall sweaters…. and then right about now when I should be able to wear said sweaters (if I was up north)…. I realize that is not happening for at least another month lol! So then I get frustrated and decide I better find some suitable Florida-friendly fall finds! So here we are. 🙂 I actually saw this top in store a month or so ago and loved the coloring, but didn’t pick it up (you know,…

Casual Style: Henley Sweater
Sharing another popular trend this fall ~ the henley sweater (or top). I suppose this one goes along with the polo sweater. I think I’ve occasionally seen a combination of the 2 (polo collar with buttons down the open v-neck). I honestly love anything that elevates an outfit. It’s a good idea to have basics in your closet (crewneck sweater with no graphics, buttons, or anything of interest), but usually in a neutral color also. These options are great to pair with a trendy statement shoe or over maybe print skirt or pant. Otherwise, gimme anything with a little extra on it! Like this henley sweater. 🙂 My exact sweater…

A Classic: The Check Skirt
The black and white buffalo print is a forever staple in the closet. You will see it pop up on tops, skirts, shoes, hair accessories, etc. year after year. This year seems to be no different as the print is widely popular in stores right now! Since it’s such a loud print itself, I always like to pair with a solid color. And honestly, take your pick on what color you choose! I’m always drawn to this bright blue color as a good match, but will likely pair the skirt with a Christmas red closer to the holidays. If you prefer more of a fall theme, a nice rust or…

Flatlay: Doggie Love Sweatshirt
Well hi guys! Happy Wednesday! I hope you are faring well no matter what part of the country you live in. The literal frozen darkness that has befallen Texas breaks my heart. I follow quite a few bloggers out of the Dallas/Houston area and can’t imagine hunkering down in a tent inside your own home trying to stay warm! I worry for the animals. The children. The elderly. I was so happy to see their weather forecast looks a tiny bit warmer each day moving forward. *moving update: If you’re following our house journey and moving to Tampa, things are progressing! We had an appraisal and inspection last week on…

The Colorblock Sweater
Hi friends! I hope you all had a nice weekend. I had a few days off of work and it was nice to re-charge and stay off social media for the most part. It’s cooled down enough in Florida that we are able to take our dogs hiking several miles at local regional and state parks in the area. Our favorite is a 3 mile heavily wooded loop through a regional park nearby. It has a nice big bridge you can walk across and the trails are bedded with fallen pine needles, so I imagine our dogs enjoy it better than most trails in our area (which can be gravel…

Flatlay: Tartan Sweater
If I had to make a list of seasonal favorites, this sweater would be one of them! I have a gray/plaid version from last year and now this pretty black/tartan version from this year! This sweater also comes in a new gray version as well. I shared a picture from last year below in the old gray color. I love the ‘faux layering’ ~ perfect for Florida also! Fit is TTS. Last year: sweater | jeans | black flats | hair clip earrings | necklace | love these red flats I hope you are having a great week! ~xoxo, Kecia

Flatlay: Leopard Zip Sweater
This zip sweater I’ve adored for quite some time, and I finally have it in my closet! It’s quite warm and cozy ~ definitely reserved for cold days (at least in Florida lol). My exact leopard print is unfortunately sold out (I’ll keep and eye for restocks!), but it comes in several solid color options that are great also! I love the ivory color. Fit is TTS. It’s long and perfect with leggings! If you love the print and are looking for a gray/black leopard sweater, check out this sweater from Amazon ~ it doesn’t have the zip detail, but provides a similar look with leggings and sneakers. Another option…

Flatlay: Statement Sleeves
Happy Tuesday everyone! Today’s flatlay post is featuring one of those skirts I talked about yesterday that I ordered – and even though I’m on my sneaker kick, better still wear it! Lol! Statement sleeves are all the rage this fall, and this sweater is simply gorgeous! The ruffled tiered sleeves are so pretty and dress up any outfit. This is a top you could easily wear with jeans and flats also. It comes in 4 colorways. I ordered the neutral ivory color since it goes with my winter skirts, but the ‘dusty rose’ color is gorgeous! There are also 5 star reviews! I ordered my normal size small, but…

Flatlay: Preppy Holiday
Trends come and go, but my tried and true will always be a good J.Crew-esque look, complete with a graphic sweater and plaid shirt! My sweater and button-down shirt are new from J.Crew Factory’s holiday release and loving the black and gold color scheme in the sweater. The shirt matches perfectly! Shirt and top fit TTS. Mules are recommended to go up 1/2 size. sweater | button-down shirt | mules (also here) necklace | jeans Happy Friday! ~xoxo, Kecia

Flatlay: Ruffle Sweater
Ruffle lovers unite! This pretty speckled sweater is only $30 ~ it definitely gives off that more expensive feel! The color scheme is perfect for Thanksgiving with a mix of golden, brown, and gray hues. I do recommend going down one size – it has an oversized fit and best to size down if you want the traditional sweater fit. sweater | similar jeans | booties (my color is old) – option | headband Hope you had a great Hump Day! ~Kecia
