    Opalhouse New Arrivals!

I’m so excited Target finally released a new collection of Opalhouse today! This brand is one of my favorite brands for home decor. I love the funky, eclectic feel. I was a modern farmhouse kinda home decor girl for awhile. With our new house, we have an extra bonus area upstairs so I’ve been able to freely play with new home decor and I love the space. The decor doesn’t just blend in, it makes me feel happy, and I love that! I’ve been wanting to slowly update each room in the house now! The next room to tackle is my home office. Instead of the modern farmhouse look, it…

Fall Style: Plaid Balloon Sleeve Dress

I found the most adorable plaid dress today at none other than Target! I’m getting all of the Reese Witherspoon vibes from Sweet Home Alabama! Currently on sale for $24 (reg. $30) and 3 colorways available. I don’t love the green floral color option, but the black color is super cute also with a clip dot pattern. This dress is a great Florida friendly fall-transition piece also. Wear now with sneakers or sandals, and booties once it finally cools down. Material is lightweight. Fit is TTS to your top size. It’s flowy on the bottom, so go with your shirt size – I’m wearing a size small (and usually wear…

    Target ~ New Shoes!

Hi friends! After my wish list post yesterday, I ran to Target and low and behold – they had both the mules and the block heel sandals I was looking for! I thought I would make a quick post about the shoes I’ve picked up recently from Target – I really liked their summer shoe line-up, and so far their pre-fall line up is pretty good also! Both pairs of sneakers I have in another variation from last year. I wore them all the time. Honestly, I think other than my old pair of converse, my various Target brand sneakers are the most worn casual sneakers in my closet. I…

    Target Style Finds, Vol. 7

Hi friends! I wanted to share a few new arrivals that I found at my local Target this past weekend. I’m loving the color palette – earthy tones, but with a summer feel. Definitely has a summer transition vibe into fall. Which is crazy to even think about, but with the NSale kicking off next week, we are officially into “fall fashion” territory! And then I shed a small tear knowing I can’t wear any of the fall goodness til November. 😅 Embroidered floral dress: This $30 dress caught my eye right away. It comes in 2 colorways – this rust color and a pretty blue. The print has tiny…

    Casual Style: Puff Sleeve Blouse

Hi everyone! I got dressed today! 😉✌🏻I created this outfit in a flatlay awhile back and was so happy our weather dipped a bit finally so I could at least wear jeans! My cute top comes in 3 colorways. Very trendy. Sleeves are the statement, but it’s also a button down and has the cutest fabric buttons. I like it tucked in, but you can easily wear it half-tucked also. I’m wearing my regular size small. Fit is TTS. Oh and best part? Target find! Only $25. Happy weekend friends! top | jeans | mules | bag | bracelet | necklace

    Casual Style: Combat Boots

Hi everyone! So, blogging has taken a little bit of a back seat lately. I found out my new schedule at work was going to be later than expected. I’ll be working 10:30-7 pm M-F (originally it was 9-5:30). And honestly, it took me back for a second after I was expecting an earlier shift, but I’m embracing it now. I quite like the idea that I’ll have more time in the mornings. I’m 100% a morning person, and love the fact now that the weather is cooling down we will have time to hike in the mornings, go for runs, bike ride, maybe grab some breakfast, etc. before work.…

    Casual Style: The Printed Sweater

Quick post today ~ The fuzzy, soft sweater. Always a classic and returns year after year in various prints and colors. I was drawn to this checkered sweater the second I saw it! Definitely a great pair with jeans and booties! It also comes in a shade of green and tons of solid colors. Fit is TTS. And only $25! sweater | jeans | headband | earrings | booties (my bootie exact color is sold out – check out this bootie also!)

    Casual Style: Puff Sleeve Blouse

Today’s outfit is for my southern readers! Although our evenings have cooled down a smidge, our days are still pretty hot. So how do we dress for fall when we can’t wear sweaters and booties? You throw in fall trends and colors and do your best! My top is another new arrival from Target (their fall fashion finds have been on point!). My top comes in 3 colors/prints. My favorite was this rust color, but I was drawn to the pink polka dot also! And of course you can’t beat a price point of $25. From the puff sleeves, ruffled collar, length meant for a tuck of some sort, and…

    On Trend: The Polo Sweater

Well hi friends! It’s been another minute since I’ve posted – honestly for a little while stores weren’t releasing much, and then boom – so many new finds! However, then my new job started on Sept 13th, and it took me a little while to find my ‘groove’ so to speak. First of all, it’s going very well! I honestly love the work from home life! Right now we are in a ‘team conference’ for training for 8 hours out of the day (not to mention I get not one, but two breaks and a lunch!…. is this real life?!) and I think since we are on video and interacting…
