    Outfit Idea: Pine Green Skirt

I just love holiday style and all of the tartan plaid with bright holiday colors. I’m sharing a couple of outfit ideas below that can easily be worn pre- and post- holiday. Just switch out the tartan plaid for fun earrings instead.. or even fun socks! That way the January/February transition into spring clothes is a little easier and you can still wear your new holiday clothes without screaming Christmas. 🙂 bow sweater | gold button sweater | green wool skirt fleece lined tights | tier drop earrings | plaid headband bracelet | socks | booties I hope you all had a great weekend! ~xoxo, Kecia

  • Old Navy Pixie Pants 1 item, 3 ways

1 Item, 3 Ways: The Pixie Pant

Happy Friday everyone! Tonight on the blog I’m posting about the ever so coveted Old Navy Pixie Pant! A long time favorite for affordable work wear, I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for these pants. I was first introduced to them maybe 7-8 years ago during pharmacy school. They were a game changer for me since they usually go on sale under $30, come in a variety of prints and colors, and wash well… and not to mention they come in petite sizing! They are listed as a skinny pant, but they fit me more loosely for whatever reason, which is honestly good for comfort on my…

  • Old Navy ruffle plaid shirt, J.Crew Factory wool skirt

    Work Style: Holiday Outfit

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I’m sharing another work outfit inspiration since we are getting oh-so close to the week where it’s completely acceptable to wear all the Christmas things in your closet! 🙂 I can’t say no to Christmas plaid shirts, and this is another favorite from this year! The ruffles give off a little of the ‘western’ vibe, so it would look adorable with booties also. I love it styled under a cardigan so you can only see a few ruffles ~ and it keeps me warmer at work! It’s a flannel knit, but I would say a lighter flannel. Fit is TTS. I love this plaid shirt styled…

  • Amazon blue light blocking glasses

    Amazon Review: Blue-Light Blocking Glasses

Hi guys! Today I have another review by a company I work with on Amazon that sells blue-light blocking glasses (see previous posts here and here). I’m pretty sure this is their best selling style and they have 2 new color options! And when I say best-selling, we are talking almost 37,000 5 star reviews! Crazy! This is probably my favorite style to date. I’m featuring the ‘black matte’ and ‘leopard’ colors below. These frames are a little bigger then previous styles, but not in width. They fit my face very well, and I like the larger frame style. The matte black is probably my favorite! And like all of…

    The Colorblock Sweater

Hi friends! I hope you all had a nice weekend. I had a few days off of work and it was nice to re-charge and stay off social media for the most part. It’s cooled down enough in Florida that we are able to take our dogs hiking several miles at local regional and state parks in the area. Our favorite is a 3 mile heavily wooded loop through a regional park nearby. It has a nice big bridge you can walk across and the trails are bedded with fallen pine needles, so I imagine our dogs enjoy it better than most trails in our area (which can be gravel…

  • Abercrombie & Fitch side zip leopard sweater, Spanx faux leather leggings, Adidas sneakers

Casual Style: Leopard Zip Sweater + Spanx Leggings

The day is finally here ~ a review of the coveted faux leather Spanx leggings! Once I figured out my appropriate size, I gotta say… they hold up to their expectation! I wore this exact outfit for 12+ hours on my feet all day at work, and I was comfortable the entire day. None of the ‘my insides are being constricted’ feelings that I felt in the beginning when I was trying to figure out the best size LOL! So here’s the deal on sizing: I’m wearing a petite length, and even then they might be a *tad* long, so anyone under 5’4″ should definitely go with petite length. They…

  • LOFT shimmer striped sweater, LOFT faux suede leggings

    Work Style: Faux Leather Leggings

I’m so happy it’s finally cold enough in Florida to wear these awesome faux suede leggings! They are so, so soft. I love that they are a little thicker also, so they fit really more like pants then leggings. I feel comfortable wearing them with a regular sweater like shown or a tunic sweater. I’m wearing my regular size and they fit perfectly. Both my sweater and leggings are currently 50% off + free shipping with code ‘JOY’! leggings | sweater | headband | similar pumps DEAL OF THE DAY: I’m always on the hunt for comfy pants. I live in joggers and leggings in the evenings and weekends. These…

  • Banana Republic merino wool ribbed sweater, J.Crew Factory buffalo plaid skirt

    Work Style: Buffalo Plaid Skirt

This is one of those classic outfits you can bring back year after year and it never gets old! I just adore this skirt. It pairs really well with black, gray, and ivory. I’ve even styled it with a graphic tee (see flatlay picture below). The black sweater/cognac pumps or flats has been a tried and true look in my closet for work the last several winters. I just always works! Spice up the look with a tortoise print necklace or leopard shoes. Right now my skirt and necklace are both 50% off plus an extra 20% off with code ‘DASHING’! *Sizing: I did go up one size on the…

  • Target Merry Tee

    Casual Style: Merry Tee

19 days til Christmas! Hard to believe or still so far away?! I’ve started shopping already, but I usually spread my gift buying out a little also, unless I find really good deal. Sometimes I’ll come up with an idea that seems like a really good gift at the time… and then I’ll think on it and be like “nope, nope that won’t work”, ha! They say it’s the ‘thought’ that counts, but I hate that dreaded feeling like they might hate it! And like to make things special. 🙂 I do love the the holiday cheer this time of year, and this $8 t-shirt is perfect for me! I…
