Work Style: Lacy Ruffle Sleeve Top + Life update!

Life update: Skip below if you’re only here for the outfit. 🙂 Hi friends! I have quite the announcement today! I’ve given notice to my current employer after accepting a work from home position with an insurance company! If you know me personally, I have worked in retail pharmacy for 16 years. I started from the ground up as a technician, worked into a lead tech role, then intern, and now for the last 6 years I’ve been a retail pharmacist. And honestly… I’m tired. Real tired. You know us retail folk always joke about finding new jobs, we have bad days and say “I can’t do this anymore!”… but…

  • Her Dailey Style, Vol. 5

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I rounded up all of my flatlays this past Friday, so I figure why not share the #ootd photos today and roundup my dailEy style? 😉 Below are all of my everyday outfits, both work and casual (mostly casual – my work outfits are sometimes lackluster if I’ve got a 13 hour day ahead of me haha!). side note: I wear a lot in my closet that is older, so items may be sold out – I’ll link what I can that is available and if I can find a similar option to recreate the same look I’ll link that…

  • J.Crew Factory striped skirt

    Work Style: Tie-Waist Skirt

Well hello friends! I hope you all are having a great Monday so far. I’m off work again today, but then head back tomorrow. I’m motivated to kind of keep up my blog this week and post as much as I can, but I feel like I don’t have a ton of content. You’ve heard me say this before, but the ‘transition’ months are always the worst. We are all kind of burned out from summer fashion, but it’s still too hot to wear fall fashion. As a blogger, I try to post ‘transitional’ outfit posts as much as I can, but a lot of times that doesn’t make a…

  • Target New Arrivals Pre-Fall July 2021

    Target Style Finds, Vol. 4

Happy Sunday! I’m actually quite overjoyed – I’ve had a helluva work week and happy to have the next couple of days off work! Hopefully your weekend has treated you well so far! This morning was a lovely surprise as well, Target finally released quite a few awesome new arrivals! I didn’t even know where to begin with it all. Lots of pre-fall goodies and even some booties! (har-har 🙂 ) Okay, anyway – on to my top picks! There are actually a few others I couldn’t include — they are listed on the website but all ‘out of stock’ – must be a website glitch. However, those were mostly…

  • universal thread ruffle sweater vest, LOFT distressed skinny jeans, Universal Thread sandals, LOFT bag

    Casual Style: Sweater Vest

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a fun little $20 sweater vest! Love the ruffle details! I’m wearing the sweater over my jeans since I have a high-waisted pair on, but it’s really easy to front tuck also and looks really nice! I opted for the peach color, but there is also a cream and olive green option as well. I shared these new sandals over on my IG page this morning also ~ they are such a lovely print! Same brand as the sweater, only $25, and come in a few coloring options. Both sweater and sandals fit TTS. Hope you all had a great day! sweater | jeans |…

  • LOFT July 2021 New Arrivals

    LOFT New Arrivals + Sale!

Happy Monday! Today is a good day ~ LOFT finally released new arrivals! I’m loving the warm color palette as we start slowly transitioning into fall fashion. Think lightweight material that is easily still worn in the heat, but compliments the fall color palette. I placed an order today as everything is 40% off! I’ll share what I like/dislike once I receive my order in the mail! Below is what caught my eye. The leopard sweater on the right is probably too warm for everyday use, but I like sweaters for work since I’m always freezing. The daisy print tank top also comes in a sweater version! I didn’t honestly…

  • Express scallop blouse, Express mid rise colored jeans, Crown Vintage wedge sandals, LOFT bag

    Work Style: Colored Jeans

Happy Sunday! Had to think about that one! 😁 I drove back ‘home’ today (still consider Sarasota area home… going to take me awhile to change that lol!) out in the country to see my horses. While I don’t really ride or show horses anymore (it was a huge part of my life from like age 3 til college years), I still care for and own my 2 retired show mares. I thought about moving them closer to me up here in Tampa, but they are well cared for and thriving where they are so I’ve left them down south for now. It’s only a little over 1.5 hours from…

  • 2021 NSale Purchases

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all are having a refreshing weekend! My husband and I have laid low this weekend so far – we have so many home projects going at once that I let him work on those and I’m perfectly content relaxing and reading a book! Today I wanted to share my initial in-store Nordstrom Anniversary Sale purchases. I posted the other day that I decided to try something new this year. I purchased all of my items for in-store pickup at my local Nordstrom. Of course not a lot of things on my wish list were in store, but it honestly worked out because I love…

  • Express tulip sleeve top, LOFT tie waist shorts, Target pleated bucket bag

Casual Style: Tie-Waist Shorts + NSale

Hi friends! So today is the day for cardholders – access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Did you shop? What did you buy? You can see my initial wish list post here. I ended up trying something different out this year in hopes I would get items faster. I didn’t really want to shop in store. Pre-Covid I wasn’t a fan of crowds, and this year is no different lol. I figured I could order in store for ‘pickup today’ and pop in for curbside pickup. Yeah, that was 7 hours ago and my order is still ‘being prepared.’ I’m guessing if customer service hasn’t pulled items yet, they are…
