Casual Style: Short Sleeve Cardigan
Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! We are still on track to close on our new home May 28th and expected to move out of this apartment sometime early June. While we’ve had an overall good experience so far, I’m ready for our own space (not to mention more space ha!)… and peace & quiet. The neighbors above us have 2 little kids and I’m fairly certain they play fetch with them LOL! No joke… the kids run back and forth for hours on end and leap onto the floor. I’ve sent one complaint already to the front office, but I’m not sure they can…

Casual Style: Linen Skirt
Happy Thursday! I hope you all are doing well! Today I wanted to share another cute outfit idea with the ever popular skirt trend. Similar to my last post, this is a comfy pull on skirt and easy to dress up or down. It’s actually meant to fit closer to knee-length, but doesn’t come in petite sizes, so it fits me more like a midi skirt. I like it just as well! This skirt is a linen blend and perfect for summer. It comes in a couple of striped options and solid colorways. I’ll link all options below. Here I paired the skirt with a relaxed tank. This tank has…

Flatlay: Doggie Love Sweatshirt
Well hi guys! Happy Wednesday! I hope you are faring well no matter what part of the country you live in. The literal frozen darkness that has befallen Texas breaks my heart. I follow quite a few bloggers out of the Dallas/Houston area and can’t imagine hunkering down in a tent inside your own home trying to stay warm! I worry for the animals. The children. The elderly. I was so happy to see their weather forecast looks a tiny bit warmer each day moving forward. *moving update: If you’re following our house journey and moving to Tampa, things are progressing! We had an appraisal and inspection last week on…

Casual Style: Spring in Florida
Hi everyone! We had a little warmup down south and I was eager to bring out some new spring items! I hesitate to even use the word “warm” because I know so many of you are under inches of snow and ice! However, think spring break and warmer months to come! My tee and shorts are a new arrival from the one and only Target! I love, love these shorts! Only $17 and several color options to choose from. I was instantly drawn to the leopard print (of course), but have the striped shorts sitting in my online cart and love the solid colors also! The tee has the cutest…

Casual Style: Puff Sleeve Sweatshirt
Hi all! Happy weekend! (skip farther below if you’re here for the outfit! 🙂 ) First & foremost you might be wondering what’s been going on with the moving saga? …We sold our house in Venice! (well, it’s pending anyway) and went under contract with the new house in Tampa. Assuming this sale contract is good to go and we close on the house in Venice, thankfully the new buyers are allowing us to leaseback the home for 45 days until our new home is finished in Tampa (which should be in April). I’m worried the new house will get delayed due to Covid backorder problems, but worst case I…

Puff Sleeve Sweater + Fun Sneakers
Well hi guys! Whew! The last week has been a whirlwind! Wondering about the moving saga?…. We are moving! Well, hopefully. Long story short – we found a house in Tampa area, I found a job in Tampa (same employer, just an internal transfer), and we put our Venice house up for sale today! Crazy crazy. I say ‘hopefully’, because this is all pending our house here in Venice sells before the new home is finished. I’m sad, I’m excited, I’m nervous, and not sure even what to think! Our house shopping trip up in Tampa was frustrating. Pre-owned homes fly off the market before you can even see them,…

Casual Style: Leopard Zip Sweater + Spanx Leggings
The day is finally here ~ a review of the coveted faux leather Spanx leggings! Once I figured out my appropriate size, I gotta say… they hold up to their expectation! I wore this exact outfit for 12+ hours on my feet all day at work, and I was comfortable the entire day. None of the ‘my insides are being constricted’ feelings that I felt in the beginning when I was trying to figure out the best size LOL! So here’s the deal on sizing: I’m wearing a petite length, and even then they might be a *tad* long, so anyone under 5’4″ should definitely go with petite length. They…

Casual Style: Merry Tee
19 days til Christmas! Hard to believe or still so far away?! I’ve started shopping already, but I usually spread my gift buying out a little also, unless I find really good deal. Sometimes I’ll come up with an idea that seems like a really good gift at the time… and then I’ll think on it and be like “nope, nope that won’t work”, ha! They say it’s the ‘thought’ that counts, but I hate that dreaded feeling like they might hate it! And like to make things special. 🙂 I do love the the holiday cheer this time of year, and this $8 t-shirt is perfect for me! I…

Casual Style: Cozy Striped Sweater
On a scale of 1 to 10, how frozen are you?! I can’t even opt out of the cold weather here in Florida ~ we woke up to 30 degree weather this morning, oy! I’m sharing my #ootd photo from yesterday below (today I wore a wool sweater lol!), but my sweater below holds up to it’s name and is “super cozy!” My exact color is sold out, but the black/white stripe is super cute also! And probably more versatile than my sweater, but you know I gotta pick the most obnoxious brightest color! 🙂 I’m still on my sneaker kick as you can see, and I wore these $60…

Casual Style: Leopard Puff Sleeves
Happy Black Friday everyone! Did you all shop a lot today? I almost feel like this year the BF sales are going on forever since they started so early and mostly online! I ordered a few things last week (in case you don’t watch Instagram stories – see the sidebar here on the blog or at the top under ‘shop all looks’ to see pictures of items I purchased), but surprisingly nothing today! I’m honestly ready for spring outfits already lol. Christmas outfits were released so early this year, I feel like tomorrow should be the new year at this point! We’ve been holding strong in the low 80s here…
